XT Biomed Makes Exhibition Debut at Leading Medtech Event

Successful debut at leading UK medtech event 

XT Biomed successfully completed its first appearance at Med-Tech Innovation Expo, held 4–5 June 2025 at the NEC Birmingham. The event provided an ideal platform to showcase the company’s full-service medical device development and ISO 13485-certified manufacturing capabilities to an audience of healthcare and diagnostics innovators.

Exhibiting at Stand B48, the team welcomed consistent interest from visitors exploring support for complex device development, from early-stage concept through to prototyping, manufacturing, and delivery.

Focused technical conversations 

Chief Engineer Tom Haydon, who represented the company throughout the two-day event, noted the high level of engagement from attendees. “It was clear from the first morning that people weren’t just browsing, they came ready to talk in detail about real challenges, from electronics integration and system reliability to scale-up readiness and compliance.”

He continued. "What stood out was how quickly people recognised the value of having design, engineering and manufacturing under one roof, and how rare that still is, especially for technically complex or regulated systems.”

New opportunities and forward momentum 

Post-show, the team began follow-up conversations with several companies about upcoming medical device development projects and manufacturing support. James Knight, Head of Engineering, commented. “This event has given us a strong platform, not just for visibility, but for starting meaningful technical conversations. We’re now focused on turning that energy into long-term collaborations.”
